Introducing Jill Sturge, Experience Manager
Jill brings more than ten years of experience in concierge services in DC. We are so happy she’s joining us at one of our newest locations, 1800 Massachusetts Ave.
Get to know Jill:
What was your first job? My first job I was a cashier at a local department store
Are you an early bird or a night owl? I am a night owl!
What’s one of your favorite memories from the past year? One of my favorite memories from last year was taking my partner to the beach for the day and just relaxing by the sea with our face masks on….LOL!
What energizes you outside of work? Working to educate people in the African American community about Breast Cancer especially since I am a Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer Survivor.
What’s one professional skill you’re currently working on? I’m working to improve my computer skills.
What do you do to turn things around when you’re having a bad day? I like to meditate, say positive affirmations and listen to my favorite songs when I am having a bad day.
What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit? I am working on always taking time out for myself. Selfcare is essential to my success.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend? On the weekends I enjoy fun activities with my family.
What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from? The best advice I received has been from my mother. She has always told me to never give up because denied just means delayed! My Caribbean mother has a lot funny sayings!
